What are you doing in 2018?

As we begin 2018, we want to encourage you to think about three questions with us. Our fourth (and final) Core Value says, “Everyone needs adventure, adversity and accountability in their lives.” Can we encourage you to put this in play in your own life this year? What are you doing in 2018?

Adventure pushes us out of our comfort zone and forces growth. Adventure changes our perspective and enlarges our worldview. Adventure helps us live in the moment and experience the roller coaster of emotions and experiences life brings. Most importantly, adventure can bring us closer to God through all of these things.  What adventure are you embracing this year?

We all struggle through times of adversity and strife.  Maybe you’ve come out of a hard 2017 or maybe you’ll have adversity this year.  What has God been teaching you through this? Are you going to let the adversity of life make you bitter, or better?

Finally, who are you accountable to? Who is encouraging and motivating you to be a better Christian? We can’t live this Christian life alone, and we all need accountability.

So what are you doing in 2018? It’s our prayer that this will be a banner year for you and your family, and Camp McCall would love to be a part of your spiritual growth in 2018.

Thanks for reading and,  as always, don’t hesitate to reach out to us if we can help in any way!
